I love it because it is a day i can truely show my wife i love her so much!

Being that this is my first entry, I thought I would start out with something that i just recently thought about.  It has been almost a decade since i moved to the sunny, yet cold shores of Lake Michigan and the Southwest Michigan area.  I have a lot of friends back in NJ, as well as here now, yet none of my NJ friends have yet to visit here at all!

I don't know why this suddenly bothered me.  Part of me thinks it is the sudden reality of being here a decade.  Another part figured it's been 10 years; none of them are coming!  I dunno.   It just struck me as odd that it's been so long and after much asking and offering, it has not happened.  Am I over thinking  this?  perhaps.   Are my friends in NJ just not able to make it out here?  due to money, jobs, family?  dunno x2.  Perhaps after some thoughts from others will make it easier to figure out!
P.S.
Those that know me would not find it surprising that i seriously thought of going with a star trek theme and starting every journal entry with Personal Log..Star Date.... whatever.  I still might..one never knows what future entries will hold!
